With the “DigitalStarter Saarland” funding program, the DiNet Saarland network office supports the digitization of small and medium-sized companies in Saarland.
Ensure competitiveness while leveraging growth potential: For small and medium-sized enterprises in particular, digital transformation is both a challenge and an opportunity. This is because, in addition to making production processes more efficient, digitization also brings new products, services or innovative business models to companies.
To ensure that this balancing act succeeds, Saarland supports small and medium-sized enterprises in the introduction of new digital systems and the improvement of IT security.
USE OF THE FUNDING
With the DigitalStarter Saarland funding program, SMEs in Saarland receive up to 12,500 Euro as a grant for their digitization project. Funding is provided for projects with expenses of at least 3,000 Euro. The funding rate is up to 50% of eligible expenses for small companies and up to 30% for medium-sized companies, but a maximum of 12,500 Euro in each case. The funding also enables investments in the company’s IT security.
