The BSidesFrankfurt2026Conference will take place at Goethe University Frankfurt on 10 September 2026, with the workshop program following on 11 September. We are glad to support the conference this year as a Bronze Sponsor.

BSidesFrankfurt is the Frankfurt edition of the worldwide SecurityBSidescommunity . To date, BSides events have been held in 300 cities across 73 countries. The goal is an open, informal setting for networking and knowledge exchange beyond classic conference formats, without vendor pitches or marketing presentations. The focus is on technical content from areas such as offensive security, cryptography, forensics, and AI. The driving force behind the event is a volunteer team – to whom our sincere thanks are due.

Hands-on: splicing fiber-optic cables

As a sponsor, we are also contributing content this year: on the conference day, we are running a hands-on station for splicing fiber-optic cables as an official side activity. Our Managing Consultant Peter Babel is bringing the necessary equipment, so visitors can strip, cut, and fuse optical fibers themselves under guidance. No registration is required – just drop by.

Alongside Peter Babel, our Managing Director Michael Schäfer and several of our students will be on site. We are looking forward to engaging talks, exchanging ideas with the community, and to everyone who picks up the splicer at our station.
