SCHUTZWERK AT THE DDSK TRAIL 2026

The DDSK Trail is an annual information day organized by DDSK GmbH (Deutsche Datenschutzkanzlei) on the topics of data protection, IT security, and compliance. We are looking forward to taking part in this year’s DDSK Trail on 21 October 2026 at the Graf-Zeppelin-Haus in Friedrichshafen.

Our colleague Christoph Wolfert will be giving a guest talk on “Social Engineering and Phishing Attacks in the Age of AI”, as phishing remains one of the most widespread methods used to attack IT infrastructures. With the rise of AI, the various forms of phishing attacks have changed significantly. The talk provides insight into current developments and highlights the key challenges involved.

The focus of the talk is not on headlines, but on practical implementation. Key questions include: What new variants does AI make possible? How are they specifically used by attackers? And what measures can companies take to prevent this type of phishing attack without resorting to knee-jerk reactions?

The DDSK Trail is more than just a series of talks. In addition to the presentations, attendees can look forward to interactive workshops and opportunities for exchange and networking. Our guest talk begins at 10:15 a.m. CEST.
